How it works

• 1. Pitch

  Members put forward books they want the club to read by adding them to The Book Shelf. Anything goes: fiction, essay, history, even the weird stuff.
• 2. Pick

  Each cycle, members vote on the shelf. The winning book becomes what we're all reading next.
• 3. Read & discuss

  Read at your own pace, then meet, typically the last Thursday of the month, for a real conversation. Reviews and Salon threads live on the site so the discussion outlives the meeting.

The Marginalia grows slowly be design. If you know a member, ask them for a referral code or fill out our waitlist form.
